Lead Software Engineer (Fluent in Agentic AI based Engineering)

The Backend Framework and Dev Tools team is responsible for providing world-class tooling, capabilities, and experiences that empower and inspires our employees, partners, and customers to build and tailor business applications providing business value in a fast and agile way. As a Software Engineer you will have the responsibility to design, develop and maintain IFS software products. The role is focused on interpreting and analyzing functional and technical requirements to create fit-for-purpose and enterprise-grade software. Stability, performance, maintainability, usability and security are key aspects of this role. If you consider yourself as a person that is pro-active, takes initiative and responsibility, good at listening and communicating, share your knowledge and experience naturally and wants to be part of a diverse and skilled team we want to hear from you. A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology Extensive experience in Java with strong command of Object Oriented Programming principles, enabling the design of scalable and maintainable systems. Hands-on experience with front-end technologies and Microsoft Azure cloud services (or any other cloud platforms) will be an added advantage Experience in agentic AI development using tools such as Cursor, Claude code, Github copilot (or similar other tools). Experience in Spec Driven Development (SDD) using methods like BMAD will be beneficial. Familiar with agentic AI workflows including orchestration of LLMs and AI agents to deliver enterprise-grade applications. Having strong analytical skills Experience with a track record in working with Enterprise Grade Software solutions. Proactive, take initiatives and responsibility.
