Perform start-up meetings to include leading stretches, communicating metrics & safety reporting, and sharing other relevant information.

Address non-compliance on standard operating procedures (SOP's)/processes issues & concerns directly with employee; bring to supervisor's attention.
Collaborate with other departments and shifts to balance labor with demand with supervisor.
Function as the departments trainer on job specific tasks.
Assist supervisor/manager with various duties, which may include interviewing candidates; training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; addressing complaints; solving problems
Demonstrate a Continuous Improvement mindset - through participation in events and activities that lead to financial gain, time savings, and/or waste reduction for the business.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of experience in a distribution/logistics environment OR associates degree plus six months of experience in a distribution/logistics environment.
Prior experience must include coordinating or leading people and/or projects, distributing work to others, training others, or similar duties.
Demonstrated history of positive leadership behaviors (team-building, self-accountability, managerial courage, etc.)
Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point required.
Prior experience with Blue Yonder or other WMS required.
RF-driven warehouse experience preferred.
Certification/license to use all equipment used in functional area preferred.
Completion of Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification preferred.
