Manage a team of process engineers to support process development, process optimization and continuous improvement for existing product fleet and new platforms
Implement engineering working standards to drive increased work efficiency and quality improvement.
Define department technical and resources strategies to support company goals
Establish equipment operation and process specifications
Manage department budget, engineer & equipment schedules, and project priorities
Work closely with customer engineers and managers to coordinate efforts with own department to develop and demonstrate new processes
Prepare and present material for internal and customer meetings
Work closely with TMEA factory and product team, sales and marketing groups, and other functional areas, to prepare changes, additions, and modifications which will facilitate customer adoption and improve quality of process equipment
Acts as a liaison with product design and development to ensure processes and designs are compatible.
Facilitate the creation and capture of IP for TEL associated with semiconductor equipment, process and manufacturing.
Travel to Japan, external Customers, and TMEA offices as required.
Employee management responsibilities:
Hire, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of process engineering internal and external support.
Set goals for the group as well as individuals and drive accountability to those goals.
Create individual development plans with direct reports and help team members meet their goals.
Manage department resources aligned with the RBA Code of Conduct.
Minimum requirements:
Minimum four-year degree in science/technology discipline is required
Minimum eight years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing and/or semiconductor equipment is preferred
Prior process engineering and/or process engineering management exp.is preferred.
Deep knowledge of equipment technology and semiconductor device structures is preferred
Knowledge and experience of vacuum-based equipment is preferred.
Knowledge and experience of plasma etch equipment is preferred.
Strong problem finding/solving skills are required
Strong oral communication and technical presentation skills are required
Ability to travel 0-10%
Salary Ranges
$133,076.06 - $192,944.77
