WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
This role sits within the Network Strategy & Operations team, operating at the center of Air Manufacturing Innovation. The Principal partners directly with senior Air leadership, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and enterprise functions, influencing direction across a global network. This is a senior individual contributor role with enterprise reach and executive exposure.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a Principal‑level communications leader who sets the standard for clarity, craft, and strategic impact. This individual owns the enterprise narrative for Air Manufacturing Innovation and serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders navigating transformation, complexity, and scale. They operate independently, anticipate needs before they're voiced, and bring strong point‑of‑view grounded in business context and audience insight.
At this level, success isn't defined by output alone-it's defined by influence. This leader shapes how the organization thinks, talks, and acts through moments of change. They build systems, not just messages. They simplify without diluting. They bring discipline to governance, precision to storytelling, and momentum to execution. This role demands comfort operating in ambiguity, credibility with executives and Firstline teammates alike, and the ability to move seamlessly between strategy and hands‑on tactical delivery.
You bring:
Open to work in Beaverton, OR
10+ years of experience in enterprise, corporate, or transformation communications, with demonstrated principal‑level scope and influence
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
Experience efficiently communicating critical information across numerous delivery platforms (print, email, digital and physical signage, ...) to a 24/7 factory/shift-work environment
Deep experience advising senior leaders and shaping executive‑level narratives through change
Proven ability to define communication operating models, governance, and measurement frameworks at scale
