Development of samples in all apparel categories, negotiation of pricing, delivery and terms for businesses as assigned in the primary function.
Ownership of the calendar at a brand level and managing the day-to-day operations of the sourcing functions.
Partner with design, technical design and buying team members to ensure seamless development processes are in place and maintained.
Demonstrate the ability to confidently challenge cost sheets and negotiate.
Taking the lead in driving progress and negotiating costs.
Forward thinking of potential quality issues and offering resolutions.
Ownership of adhering to the current Sourcing Strategy and Goals.
Partner with QA and Supply Chain to ensure processes are in place to ensure uninterrupted flow of merchandise.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree required (Merchandising, Marketing, Business, Product Design preferred) Experience : Minimum 5 + years of experience in product development, production and/or sourcing (at least 3 years specific in apparel categories). Garment construction would be nice to have.

The Sourcing Specialist manages the day-to-day business of Manufacturing from initial concept to FC delivery. Responsibility is to work side by side with the Sourcing Manager to focus and align the Global Sourcing multiple strategies to meet customer demands by offering the highest quality product at the best value possible.
