Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or an equivalent field
Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems, or experience in development or technical support
Experience reading and writing procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings, or experience in electrical or mechanical engineering
Experience with CAD systems (Dassault CATIA preferred)
2+ years of technical support experience, or Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
Knowledge of aviation safety standards
Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), such as Delmia Apriso
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as Infor LN
Familiarity with drone systems, avionics, or electromechanical assemblies

Come work on the Amazon Prime Air (PA) team! We are seeking a Support Engineer III. We're looking for people who innovate and love solving hard problems. You will work hard, have fun, and of course, make history!
You will be instrumental in supporting the PA Drone Assembly & Test (A&T) production line, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues affecting drone production. You will work directly with Manufacturing Engineers, Assembly Technicians, and cross-functional partners (Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality) to maintain production continuity, drive process improvements, and support operational scaling. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, supporting change management activities, and identifying opportunities to improve production support tools and workflows.
As a Support Engineer, you will develop knowledge in drone A&T processes, serve as a technical point of contact within the production support workflow, and contribute to achieving safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets as PA scales operations.

A day in the life
- Provide timely resolution of hardware and software issues affecting the drone production line
- Create and maintain Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Work Instructions, and Work Plans to support daily and future production activities
- Identify areas of improvement to support documentation and processes; create new documentation where gaps exist
- Identify improvements to existing and new support tools that improve operational efficiencies and drive implementation
- Lead internal team projects and deliver on defined goals and timelines
- Participate fully and constructively in team planning, helping develop and refine operational policies and procedures
