POSITION SUMMARY The Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst provides clinical supervision to frontline clinicians and consultation for complex clinical intervention, including intrusive behavioural intervention strategies. Services will include assessment, treatment and therapeutic programming, clinical consultation, program evaluation, training, education, and research activities within a variety of settings throughout CHEO's region of Eastern Ontario including homes, community settings and group homes. Travel, and evening and weekend work should be an expectation of the position LOCATION This position serves the Renfrew County area. The successful candidate must reside in the region or be willing to travel within the area during their own time and at their own expense. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, monitor, and evaluate therapeutic treatment interventions utilizing evidence-based ABA practices. Ensure that process for evidenced based practice is implemented in all areas of service delivery. Provide consultation services to individuals and groups such as: clients, relatives of clients, professional associations, agency staff, mental health workers, and involved medical providers. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, committees (internal and external) and initiatives designed to support the clients, families, direct care staff, and community partners. Represent CHEO on internal and external clinical review committees as required in the area of behaviour practices and ABA. Provide clinical oversight and accountability for the delivery of ABA-based service and provide clinical supervision to Behaviour therapists for ABA-Based case conceptualization, assessment, and treatment, in accordance with College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario's Standards of Professional Conduct, 2024 Engage in clinical supervision activities which includes, but is not limited to, describing theoretical orientation for assessment and treatment decisions, reviewing and discussion of written materials, reviewing client progress, data collection and graphing, video and/or in-situ observation, role play, discussion of literature and ethical dilemmas, and providing clinical feedback anchored in Behaviour Therapist's clinical competencies. Meet with Behaviour Therapists regularly to enable active monitoring of goals and progress concerning each service recipient and provide continuous planning, monitoring and evaluating of clinical practice. Maintain records of clinical supervision activities and contacts with Behaviour Therapists. Develop and provide formal staff training in skill acquisition methodologies and techniques to support problem behaviour (i.e. aggression, self-injury, property destruction) Prepare and maintain formal documentation including but not limited to assessment reports, treatment plans, program plans, gui
