Description of Work The Museum of Art is looking for an enthusiastic Manager of Teen and College Programs to join our team! The Manager of Teen and College Programs collaborates with the Director of Outreach and Audience Engagement to implement dynamic year-round teen and college programming and to coordinate the Museum's intern program. This position develops meaningful programs and strengthens the Museum's relationships with teen and college students, as well as high school and college faculty. This position oversees the NCMA Teen Arts Council (TAC) including recruiting students, overseeing applications, and developing year-long syllabi. Special attention will be required as the Museum continues to grow the internship program in its capacity and diversity in an effort to encourage students into the Museum field. This position also manages the NCMA Student Gallery Guides program which trains students on a yearly basis on how to give tours of the Museum collection.

Responsibilities

Plan and facilitate NCMA Teen Arts Council, as well as, the College Advisory Council, coordinating participants and meetings and setting agendas.

Provide complete project management for teen and college programs, including partner relationship management, tracking stats, production, and evaluation.

Continue to grow engagement with community colleges and HBCUs and participate in job fairs and other recruitment opportunities.

Organize and manage quarterly teen and college art workshops and facilitate college exhibitions.

Manage NCMA internship program ensuring at least three annual structured, cohort-based internship cycles and managing the internship application process from start to finish.

Maintain budget for teen and college programs; code appropriate expenses and maintain updated budget records and files.

Collaborate across Museum departments to develop programs and experiences connected to exhibitions, public events, and institutional initiatives.

Recruitment Range: $35,596-$45,000

Position/Physical Requirements

Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8-5, with flexibility 40 hours a week.

Ability to work some after hours events/weekends as needed.
