As a Lead Civil Engineer within our Energy & Industrial team - you'll be vital to assist with the way we design and deliver major works across Australia. You will be focusing on substation, transmission, wind, BESS and solar renewable projects. You will play a crucial role in designing and delivering high-quality solutions for our clients. Your expertise will contribute to the successful planning, design, and execution of infrastructure, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency. Your Role will include: Collaborate and co-ordinate with multidisciplinary teams to undertake concept and detailed design of large scale HV infrastructure including; substations, BESS, solar and wind projects. This would include design of earthworks, roads, drainage, foundations, layouts etc. Develop and review detailed civil engineering designs, reports, technical specifications and relevant documentation. Review civil design models (eg Civil3D/12D). Participate in engineering, design and construction review processes and provide technical expertise and guidance as required. Have sound understanding of relevant industry/client standards, guidelines and regulations. Provide technical guidance and support to other engineers and project teams. Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success. Assist advancement of digital engineering and digital innovation skills within the team. As well as experience in a similar civil engineering role previously. You would require: Minimum Australian recognised Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Professional registrations such as CPEng, NER, RPEQ or equivalent is desirable. Proven design experience within the energy (power utility) sector (Minimum 5+ years) and focus on bulk earthworks, roads and drainage. Previous experience working on substation, transmission and distribution projects will be highly favourable, especially within NSW. Strong understanding of civil modelling and relevant design software (e.g. Civil 3D/12D). Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly within a team environment, collaborating effectively with cross-discipline teams to achieve project goals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the willingness and ability to collaborate and develop team capabilities.
