The BDR will play a crucial role in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, initiating relationships with potential clients, and supporting the sales team in achieving revenue targets for SS&C's innovative financial technology solutions. Job Responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively research and identify potential clients within the financial services industry (e.g., corporates, PE, financial and legal advisors) using various tools and resources (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, industry databases, CRM, etc.). Outreach & Engagement: Execute targeted outreach campaigns via email, phone, and social media to introduce SS&C's offerings and generate interest. Discovery & Qualification: Conduct initial discovery calls to understand prospects' business needs, challenges, and current technology landscape, qualifying leads based on established criteria. Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and prospect interactions within the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce). Collaboration & Handover: Work closely with Account Executives to seamlessly transition qualified leads, providing comprehensive background information and insights. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and SS&C's product developments to effectively position our solutions. Performance Reporting: Track and report on key metrics, including calls made, emails sent, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities generated. Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance sales skills and product knowledge. Job Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Experience: 2 years of experience in a business development, sales development, or inside sales role, preferably within the financial technology (FinTech) or enterprise software industry. Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken) is essential. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of the sales process, lead qualification, and objection handling. Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly grasp and articulate complex technical concepts related to financial software and services. CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is highly desirable. Motivation & Drive: Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment. Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams including sales, marketing, and product.
