We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Project Manager to join us in our Power & Electricity Transmission team in Melbourne, Vic or Brisbane, QLD on a Permanent Full Time basis.
Reporting to the Team Leader - Overhauls Power & Electricity Transmission, you will play a key role in managing and delivering power and electrical infrastructure projects, overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle to achieve successful outcomes that support both business unit priorities and APA's strategic goals.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning, development, and delivery of power projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, on time, and within budget.
Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, resource plans, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies to support successful project delivery.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
Drive project governance, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve business objectives.
Your background
Demonstrated experience managing electrical or power infrastructure projects through the full project lifecycle.
Strong knowledge of high voltage (HV) systems, power generation, transmission, distribution, or renewable energy assets.
Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, risks, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organisation.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline, with experience working in complex operational or infrastructure environments.
