Prepares simulation environments for learning activities, including equipment setup, supply staging, scenario programming, and technology testing prior to sessions.
Operates high- mid- and low-fidelity simulations and equipment, including manikins and audiovisual systems to support scenario execution and learner engagement.
Management simulation technology during sessions, including real-time physiological adjustments, troubleshooting, and scenario flow support.
Serves as the voice/operator for manikins and supports standardized patient coordination as applicable.
Performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repair of simulation equipment; escalates complex issues to vendors as needed.
Maintains inventory of simulation supplies and equipment; monitors par levels and coordinates ordering and replacement to ensure operational readiness.
Ensures simulation lab readiness through standardized setup processes, equipment checks, and adherence to safety and infection control practices.
Collaborates with clinical educators and program leads to translate learning objectives into simulation setup, equipment needs, and technical execution plans.
Supports simulation-based education across orientation, transition to practice, competency validation, and ongoing professional development programs.
