Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Job Description: Assists with the repair, preparation, and annual inspections of the fire alarm systems and elevators. JOB DUTIES Assists with inspecting fire alarm components for the purpose of annual certification, evaluating condition, and identifying necessary repairs. Assists with inspecting elevators and their components for the purpose of annual certification, evaluating condition, and identifying necessary repairs. Assists with regular inspections of fire extinguishers to ensure proper functionality, appropriate placement, and compliance with fire and life safety codes. ADDITIONAL DUTIES Cooperates and collaborates with other employees in the spirit of teamwork and collegiality and interacts with confidence, patience and integrity to provide professional leadership during emergencies. Complies with all Trinity University policies and guidelines. Performs other duties as required. EDUCATION Required: High School Diploma or GED.
