- Able to wear clean room suit and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and to lift Excellent written & verbal communication; teamwork & networking; willingness to learn from failures. ability to present technical information across teams.
- May be exposed to yellow lights, blinking lights.
- Ability to discern audible alarms.
- Potential to work with materials which contain hazardous chemicals.

Position Summary Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Process Engineer for the Implant department interested in working alongside a talented team of professionals with a key focus on establishing and maintaining world class process/equipment and implementing yield enhancement as a competitive advantage. In this job, you'll be a foundational member tasked with new process qualification, tool-to-tool output matching, implementing process controls and defense lines, and maintaining process health. Role and Responsibilities Here's what you'll be responsible for: Qualify wafer fabrication processes on new tools. Gather metrology data during tool qualification phase and ensure film properties meet specs. Transfer/duplicate recipes across lines and ensure process matching across fabs and between tools using statistical tools. Monitor the wafer fabrication process by responding to in-line issues and abnormal product dispositions. Create troubleshooting plans and apply corrective action plans. Use software (Spotfire/JMP/MATLAB/Excel) to analyze data for SPC, trend analysis, and root‑cause investigations. Implement Change‑Point Management (CPM) and defense‑lines to prevent excursions. Draft, review, and update SOPs and process reference books. Train technicians on the SOPs. Maintain detailed logs of daily tool activity and lessons learned. Work cross-department with vendors and other teams to improve yield, reliability, cost, and throughput.
