Salary Replace leaver Storekeeper/Stock controller We are looking for experienced Storekeeper to join our Northampton team. - Typical annualised earnings of £30,967 per annum which is £15.27 p/h, Overtime rate of £16.32 p/h. - Guaranteed 39 minimum hours with overtime potentially available Be at the heart of our depot operations. In this fast-paced role, you'll keep our stock levels exactly where they need to be, ensuring our team have the parts to keep a modern, varied fleet on the road. Your work is critical - without you, the depot doesn't move. With you, we keep our buses running and our customers travelling safely and comfortably every day, wherever they need to go. Duties and Responsibilities Ordering parts for company's fleet of 100+ vehicles Managing stock levels (Including Fuel, Oil and consumables) Sending daily, weekly and Monthly Reports Health and Safety (COSSH, PPE control) Liaise with Suppliers and Contractors Skills & Competencies Must be confident and competent using computer systems daily, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) and stock control/ordering systems - this is a system-led role, not a paper-based one Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once High level of attention to detail (stock accuracy, correct allocation, records) Ability to prioritise workload, especially when dealing with urgent vehicle requirements Confident communicator, able to deal with suppliers, engineers, and management Proactive approach to chasing issues and resolving problems Personal Attributes Reliable and self-motivated, able to work independently Takes ownership of tasks and follows things through to completion Not afraid to challenge suppliers or escalate delays when required Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment Additional/Desirable Knowledge of vehicle parts or engineering consumables Experience working in the automotive industry Forklift licence (Training will be provided) Full UK driving licence Aside from the satisfaction of being a key worker in your community, there's loads of reasons for you to join the Stagecoach Midlands team...
