Responsibilities
Plan and lead complex ground investigations
Interpret ground conditions and lead development of 3D models
Provide ground engineering and ground risk advice
Deliver technical reports and geotechnical assessments
Support transport, water and infrastructure project delivery
Mentor junior engineering geologists and field staff
Coordinate with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams
Contribute to proposals and wider project delivery activities
Requirements
Degree in Geology or Engineering Geology
8+ years' experience within engineering geology consulting and a minimum of 5 years' experience working in Auckland
Strong capability across investigations, interpretation and reporting
Experience leading field programmes and mentoring others
Experience with GIS, LeapFrog, Rocscience, gINT/OpenGround or similar
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Chartered status or working toward chartership
NZ driver licence and strong HSE mindset
