Tool Installation & Integration Perform full system installations to meet KLA specifications, including: Physical install and connection
Precision alignment and calibration
Wafer handler robot setup and teaching
System-level calibrations and performance testing
Applications verification and product wafer validation
Problem Solving & Issue Resolution Troubleshoot complex system issues using data analysis, abstract thinking, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
Manage critical issues across multiple customer sites and regions.
Customer Validation & Satisfaction Lead post-installation meetings to verify tool performance and ensure customer satisfaction.
Conduct application testing to confirm operational quality.
Maintain strong communication through regular updates and escalation meetings.
Training & Knowledge Sharing Deliver training on new product installations to global customer support teams.
Your Qualifications
Education & Experience Engineering qualification e.g. NVQ, HNC or Degree etc.
Proven experience in a hands-on Engineering role with Electrical and Mechanical experience
Technical Skills Familiarity with pneumatics, mechanics, electronics, radio frequency technology, metrology, and laser technologies is desirable.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across software, electronic, optical, and mechanical systems.
Proficiency in computer systems and operating environments (e.g., MS Windows).
Soft Skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Adaptable & flexible
Willingness and availability to travel within the UK and Europe (approx. 70%). Occasional international travel maybe required.
