You will lead our onboarding process for new employees -DSDHH's outreach arm of the division. In this key leadership role, you will design, develop, and deliver high quality training and professional development programs for both division employees and external partners. You will create engaging training content, coordinate workshops, seminars, webinars, and conferences, and identify which staff should attend learning opportunities. You will also build a network of skilled trainers and subject matter experts to deliver presentations to employees at DSDHH staff development programs. As Staff Development Manager, you will help set the tone for every new employee's experience at DSDHH. You will collaborate closely with managers, supervisors, and coordinators to strengthen onboarding processes and ensure each new hire receives a welcoming, well organized introduction to the division. Your work will contribute directly to improved staff retention, successful recruitment, and a supportive culture where employees feel supported and valued. You will also lead and support DSDHH's Outreach and Education Coordinator team. In this capacity, you will ensure they remain actively engaged with Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind communities across North Carolina.
