POSITION SUMMARY: The Construction and Maintenance Equipment Operator Technician position will be located at the Dickinson, ND facility. This position works in and around petroleum products and crude oil facilities executing various construction and maintenance activities. 75% travel, call-outs, and overtime will be required on an as-needed basis. C&M KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate heavy equipment to excavate pipelines. Pipeline maintenance activities including manual labor, bolting, torquing, assisting in pipe fitting and fabrication, and hydrostatic testing. Perform pipeline coating removal and application following company standards and procedures. Transport equipment to job site to complete work with assigned work truck and semi truck. Read and analyze drawings. Assist in spotting lines during excavation, uncovering lines and conduits. Thorough knowledge of equipment to perform general maintenance. Provide support for damage prevention and right of way relations. Perform emergency response activities. Complete all required training. Provide field support to various other MPL processes and departments. Perform work in a safe and environmentally conscious manner in accordance with all Environmental, Safety and Regulatory requirements.
