Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION & PURPOSE: Rolls-Royce & Partners Finance Limited ("RRPF") is an engine leasing company with the largest global portfolio of Rolls-Royce and IAE V2500-A5 & PW1100G-JM engines, providing medium and long term leasing solutions for spare engines. RRPF's sister company, Aether Asset Management, manages approximately 560 assets on behalf of third-party owners, enabling the efficient leasing and return of civil aircraft engines to airlines around the world, mainly on short term leases. As a leading innovator within the engine leasing industry, RRPF has a set-up an engine service centre in the Sendayan TechValley, Seremban, Malaysia, roughly 30 mins from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). This engine service centre will support engine redelivery and pre-delivery inspections and storage for RRPF and Aether managed assets in the region. An opportunity has become available for a Technical Records Executive to join our team in Malaysia. The primary objectives are to deliver services within agreed timeframes, improve turn-around-time between leases, maintain the asset value of engines and minimise risk for all asset owners. The size and structure of the RRPF organisation means that you will work alongside and communicate with senior team members daily. This is a key role enabling high quality service delivery to airline customers while mitigating technical risk for asset owners. You will report to the Technical Records Director and be responsible for ensuring high data accuracy in technical records received from customers and maintenance providers and maintain our related digital systems. Accuracy and a meticulous eye for detail are essential. MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Supporting the business in ensuring accuracy and completeness of technical records needed to support engine lease delivery / redelivery Responsible for promptly highlighting any quality issues related to technical records provided by airline customers prior to closing lease return Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete technical data in our systems, including updating such data as needed due to changes to engine manufacturers technical publications (EM, AMM, MPD, SBs, ADs, IPC, TLM, etc.) and airlines and MRO records Responsible for the safe storage and filing of any physical technical records Responsible for the administration of access for third parties that are approved to have access to digital records Responsible for pro-actively identifying operational issues and facilitating the resolution of the same whilst maintaining appropriate levels of customer satisfaction Responsible for ensuring technical data syncronisation between systems is maintained Responsible for ensuring monthly utilisation data for all assets is obtained in a timely manner each month and is accurate before being entered to our systems for accuracy of invoice generation KEY SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Management, Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering, or similar relevant qualification or experience in a comparable role Relevant experience in Aircraft or Engine Leasing, Airline Engineering, MRO, or Technical Advisory firm Familiar with aircraft/engine maintenance processes and records In-depth understanding of the EASA regulations for records-keeping & transfer of aircraft continuing airworthiness records Good knowledge of the IATA Guidance Material and Best Practices for Aircraft Leases Knowledge of at least one Rolls-Royce Trent engine type will be an advantage Experience of managing third party suppliers/sub-contractors for maintenance and/or processing of technical records Knowledge of asset management software systems such as Salesforce, etc. Understanding of engine shop visit processes and airline engineering operations Computer literacy, knowledge of asset management software systems Salesforce, and the OEM engine portals an advantage We offer excellent opportunities to develop, along with a competitive salary and exceptional benefits.
