DUTIES: As a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) (NGT6382000), GS-0201-9, you will direct a small team consisting of 2-4 subordinate Full-time CSS personnel supporting Commander's Support Staff (CSS) and Orderly Room (CCQ) operations at the Group level. This includes overseeing CSS/CCQ functions; ensuring efficient daily administrative support and managing military program execution per the Personnel Services Delivery Guide (PSDG). Responsibilities include training and mentoring personnel to maintain mission readiness and compliance with Air Force policies. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is primarily sedentary, although some walking, standing, and carrying of files or documents is required. WORKINGENVIRONMENT: The work is performed in an office setting with no unusual risks or discomforts. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must possess at least ONE (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower-level GS-07 position or the equivalent TWENTY-FOUR (24) months of specialized experience performing or supervising duties such as serving as a technical and subject matter expert on military personnel management policies, procedures, and regulations; providing guidance and training to lower graded HR Specialists; identifying developmental needs and coordinating training; collects, analyzes, and compiles personnel data; oversees unit deployment readiness; provides expert advice on military personnel programs, including policy interpretation and procedural guidance; oversees preparation and publication of personnel documents and orders; ensuring quality control of personnel documentation and supports personnel accountability programs; identifies and refers complex military and civilian personnel issues.
