Overall responsibility for the Finance organization at the Esslingen site, including functional and disciplinary leadership
Ownership of finance standards, governance, and group-wide processes (including RBS / SOX environment)
Owner of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and US GAAP
Overall responsibility and coordination of Accounting, Tax, and Compliance activities (including tax filings and reports) in close cooperation with internal and external partners
Coordination of statutory audits and US GAAP audits and acting as the central point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel
Continuous development of management reporting to support the financial steering of the site
Close collaboration with the Shared Service Center (Slovakia) to ensure a stable and timely month-end close
Sparring partner to plant management on budget, forecast, and performance-related topics
Execution of key financial and business analyses to improve results and overall performance
Responsibility for ensuring compliance with all statutory and corporate law requirements of German legal entities, including annual financial statements, timely filings, and the documentation of shareholder and management board resolutions, in close cooperation with external partners
Your Profile
Degree in Business Administration, Finance/Controlling, or a comparable field
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in a manufacturing / operations environment
Strong expertise in cost, production, and inventory controlling
Solid experience with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
Proficient in working with ERP system SAP and MS Office
Strong leadership personality with the ability to inspire, develop, and engage teams in a dynamic environment
Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify risks early and initiate appropriate measures
Proven leadership capabilities, high level of assertiveness, and excellent communication and teamwork skills
Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken (C1 level or higher)
