Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
2-4 years of software development experience
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#)
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience with supply chain, manufacturing, or operations software systems
Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
Exposure to software testing frameworks and practices
Experience working in Agile development environments
Contributions to open-source projects or personal software projects
Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and exposure to AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch

Compensation Range for:
WA applicants is $134,961.00 - $188,945.40

Enterprise Technology is the center of excellence for digital technology at Blue Origin, providing oversight and governance to align technology and business strategies.
We are seeking a Software Engineer II to contribute to the design and development of technology solutions for Supply Chain and Operations. This role is on the Supply Chain & Operations Technology team, where our mission is to build scalable solutions that automate and simplify Supply Chain and Manufacturing business processes. This ranges from procurement, material requirements planning (MRP), manufacturing scheduling, warehouse automation, and more. Join us as we build the road to space!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Contribute to the design and development of software products for Supply Chain & Operations
Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code in languages such as Java, Python, and Typescript
Build web interfaces in frameworks such as React and Angular under guidance
Participate in designing monitoring and alerting for cloud platforms
Support implementation of software deployment lifecycle and test practices
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical issues and learn best practices
Assist in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
