Warehouse Assistant (Forklift Driver)

About the role

Basic information: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm (rotating shift) Basic Salary will depend on experience $15 night shift allowance Location: East AWS + VB (individual performance) Job Scope: Operate forklifts and material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Carry out loading and unloading of containers and incoming shipments. Transport and store materials or goods at designated warehouse locations. Conduct routine inspections of forklifts before and after operations to ensure serviceability. Adhere to workplace safety policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements. Support warehouse operations and perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor. Job Requirements: Possess a valid Heavy Forklift Operator License (certified to operate 5-ton and 16-ton forklifts). Willing to work overtime, rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required. Prior experience in warehouse operations or forklift driving is preferred. Experience in loading and unloading materials from trucks will be an added advantage. Good safety awareness, responsibility, and attention to detail. Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and material handling procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
