Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day supervision of the hourly maintenance organization, ensuring the team is working safely and efficiently.

- Lead Alarm Management related activities at the site.
- Work closely with vendors, outsourced service providers, and contractors as needed
- Recommend upgrades, overhauls, and other changes to major systems and equipment, including capital project leadership and support.
- Actively participate in PHA/RCA/MOC and auditing
- Authorize SWP/LOTOV/Line Break/ Elevated work Permits for maintenance, operations, and contractors
- May act as Subject Matter Expert for FMC Formulation & Packaging sites
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering preferred
- Minimum three years in manufacturing operations with specialty chemical, pharmaceutical or food additive plant experience highly preferred
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising in a union environment highly preferred
- Knowledge and experience with PLCs and process control systems
- Experience with SAP or similar CMMS, especially related to business systems
- Certifications or in-depth experience with electrical safety standards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and task completion dates, with strong time management

Business/Function Overview : The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the hourly Maintenance staff, coordinating resources to support day-to-day needs of the site, and driving the preventative maintenance programs. This role will be engaged in safe work permit processes and ensuring all jobs are executed in compliance with life critical standards and proper permitting, as needed. In addition, this role will develop and update procedures, lead and assist with capital projects, and develop capability in the organization by working on training of employees. This role will report to the Maintenance & Reliability Manager.
