Engineering Specialist - Configurator Systems Integration

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver solutions to complex engineering challenges , leading or supporting the design and improvement of advanced systems aligned with product line strategy.
• Apply customer and market insights to engineering decisions, including product application, competitive benchmarking, and cost driver analysis.
• Maintain and expand technical expertise by staying current on emerging technologies and deepening knowledge across relevant engineering disciplines.
• Design and develop new products while contributing to overall product line strategy and long-term roadmap.
• Define product architecture and strategy , including program scope, machine configuration, and modularity approaches.
• Evaluate and benchmark new and existing products against competitive offerings and performance requirements.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively across customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical guidance and support to engineers, leaders, and business partners across the product development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience desired.

• Top Candidates will also have:
• Experience in heavy equipment, mining equipment, or complex manufacturing industries
• Proven experience in systems integration engineering, configuration engineering, or complex product development environments
• Strong understanding of system architecture, system interdependencies, and integration methodologies (Systems Thinking)
• Hands-on experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and product configuration platforms
• Working knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
• Experience with prototyping, system testing, validation, and verification processes to ensure product quality and reliab
