Carnegie Mellon University's Department of Athletics is seeking a full-time Assistant Coach for its Women's Basketball program. A national research university, Carnegie Mellon is a member of the NCAA Division III and the University Athletic Association. Core responsibilities include: Experience with identifying and recruiting potential student-athletes. Assist with skill instruction, motivation, and the ability to conduct practice sessions under the direction of the head coach, including planning and implementation. Utilizing Fast Model and Synergy Sports for opponent scouting, film analysis/breakdown, and game preparation. Implementing and executing player development plans Responsibilities will include home event management and teaching in the physical education program. Mentor and support student-athletes in their academic progress, leadership development, and overall well-being. Support the women's basketball strength and conditioning program. Coordinating logistics and itineraries for team travel. Ability to work outside the normal business hours, holidays, and weekends.
