Execute routine and non-routine analysis for cGMP release and characterization testing
Perform analytical testing with a strong focus on HPLC and UPLC, alongside AUC, SEC, CE, and Western Blot
Conduct compendial assays including pH, conductivity, and osmolality testing
Support method verifications and transfers for multiple projects
Perform sampling of incoming materials for use in manufacturing and production
Initiate and maintain documentation including LIMS entries, SOPs, and assay forms
Maintain laboratory equipment, logbooks, and ensure compliance with safety standards
Initiate and support laboratory investigations and quality events with guidance
Assist in analytical and instrument troubleshooting through assay execution
Apply lean lab and six sigma concepts to support continuous improvement initiatives
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline
Hands-on experience or exposure to HPLC and/or UPLC analytical techniques
Ability to learn and apply professional concepts in a laboratory environment
Understanding of and ability to follow company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accuracy in a structured work environment
Desirable Requirements:
Experience with method validation activities in a regulated laboratory environment
Experience supporting or executing method transfers
Novartis Compensation and Benefit Summary:
The salary for this position is expected to range between $32.12 and $59.62 per hour
The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.
Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
