About the role
As a Technical Business Analyst within NAB, you'll assists with the decomposition of work, writing Business Outcomes, Epics, Features, and User Stories so that their squad clearly articulates value, acceptance criteria, and estimates to get their work done. They support decision making with clear, insightful analysis, which allows the Product Owner to make decisions on ideation viability, sequencing, and shaping business context. YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1. User Story Definition Collaborate with Product Owner and stakeholders to understand, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with product vision and value delivery. Support the definition of Lean Canvas, Epics, Features, and User Stories, and facilitate backlog prioritization. Translate customer insights into well-structured User Stories with clear Acceptance Criteria for the development team. Apply rigor and technical discipline to requirements definition and validation. 2. Planning & Engagement Partner with stakeholders to articulate product vision, define problems/opportunities, and outline desired future states with measurable outcomes. Gather inputs and produce clear requirements to enable accurate estimation. Work ahead of the team to prepare requirements for upcoming Business Outcomes, Epics, and Features. Share accountability for backlog refinement and estimation during planning sessions. Proactively identify and escalate risks, blockers, and continuously seek process improvements. Be available to clarify requirements, assist in breaking down Stories, and participate in Sprint reviews. 3. Other Key Responsibilities Decompose work into Business Outcomes, Epics, Features, and User Stories to establish a product backlog. Manage Epic sequencing, communicate with senior stakeholders, and recommend trade-offs in technical decisions. Collect and analyze data to support informed decision-making in complex environments. Own current/future process maps, interaction models, and customer journey maps aligned with enterprise architecture. Structure problems logically and perform deep analysis to articulate Epics in Progressive Elaboration documentation. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
