Responsibilities
- Content Creation:
- Write clear, engaging communications tailored to internal and external audiences
- Manage the development and distribution of a weekly internal newsletter
- Support the rollout of company initiatives by helping to prepare messaging and detailed communications plans
- Create graphics and visual designs to enhance and amplify communications, including the creation of notices on digital signage
- Collaboration & Support:
- Collaborate with the Corporate Communications team on a variety of internal and external initiatives and events, contributing ideas and enthusiasm
- Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Manage logistics and coordination on a variety of ad hoc projects
- Insights & Analytics:
- Monitor communication effectiveness using analytics dashboards and measurement tools, recommending improvements to boost impact
- Explore and experiment with AI-powered communication tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot) to support innovative storytelling and team efficiency
- About You
- 1-3 years of experience (including internships) in communications, journalism, digital media, or a related discipline
- Bachelor's degree in communications, English, journalism, or a related field
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and graphic design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
- Comfort with emerging AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) and curiosity about how they shape the future of communications
- Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, self-starting approach - you take initiative, anticipate what's needed, and follow through without waiting to be asked
