Performs basic patient care activities of daily living as delegated and supervised by an RN.
Ensures the social, emotional, and recreational well-being of residents by participating in 1:1 and group activity-focused care programs in cooperation with the Director of Activities.
Assists patients with meeting their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.
Greets patients and visitors. Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls.
Calls codes, pages, and overhead announcements as requested
Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff
Assists with keeping unit and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly
What You Bring:
Valid State of Maine PSS or CNA certification or ability to obtain one within 120 days of hire
A genuine passion for caring for older adults and individuals with memory loss
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
