POSITION SPECIFICS The Athletic Analytics Specialist supports the success of a high-performance collegiate athletic program by delivering advanced data analysis, strategic insights, and operational support; is responsible for evaluating athlete, team, and opponent performance; collaborates closely with coaching staff to develop data-informed strategies, scouting materials, and performance reports that enhance competitive outcomes. Analyze practices, game performance, and opponent tendencies to deliver actionable insights that inform coaching strategies, game planning, and in-competition adjustments Prepare, review, and interpret individual athlete, unit, and team performance data using advanced analytics tools and video analysis platforms Generate detailed scouting reports, playbooks, call sheets, schemes, and scripts for coaches Develop preliminary scouting reports and strategic schemes in advance of practices and competitions Create and deliver self-scout reports to evaluate team tendencies, strengths, and areas for improvement Perform quality control duties, including charting plays and statistics, maintaining depth charts, and evaluating game film, in collaboration with the coaching staff Coordinate the collection, integration, and distribution of data, ensuring timely access for coaches and staff Support the coaching staff by preparing, organizing, and maintaining materials essential to the successful operation of the program Identify trends and performance indicators through statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and video breakdown Coordinate meetings between the program, external consulting partners, student-athletes, and families to support informed decision-making processes Oversee relationships with external stakeholders, including agent consultants, ensuring student-athletes receive appropriate guidance during the agent selection process Facilitate communication and logistics between coaching staff, analytics providers, and program leadership Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of all performance data, reports, and analytics systems MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree 1+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks. SALARY & BENEFITS The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $34,800.00 - $50,500.00.
