Lead and plan user research activities to identify user behaviors, needs, motivations, and accessibility requirements across diverse user groups
Design and optimize end-to-end user experiences, including digital and offline interactions, ensuring alignment with both user and organizational needs
Develop wireframes, visual designs, interaction models, workflows, and annotated prototypes to clearly communicate design intent
Conduct structured and ad-hoc usability testing, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights and recommendations
Iterate on designs using user-centered evaluation methods, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and continuously improving usability and accessibility
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and implementation teams to ensure design solutions are effectively translated into delivered products
Define, establish, and maintain UX and UI design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency across products and platforms
Analyze user characteristics, tasks, and operating environments to inform design decisions and identify opportunities for innovation and improved engagement
What We Look For
Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
4-6 years of experience designing UX/UI for web, mobile, or software applications
Experience working in a clinical, regulated, or similar industry environment
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX/UI design expertise across research, interaction design, and usability evaluation
Deep understanding of usability principles, user-centered design methodologies, and information architecture best practices
Experience planning and conducting user research and translating findings into design improvements
Proficiency in working within Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Working knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated ability to mentor and support team members in a matrixed, global environment
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
