EA-18G Mission Systems Integration and Test Manager Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is currently seeking a highly motivated EA-18G Mission Systems Manager to become part of the F-18 Mission Systems team in Berkeley, Missouri. This position will be in the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. The candidate will enable the EA-18G (Growler aircraft) portion of the F-18 Mission Systems organization to continue to expand its business base and will participate in advancing fighter aircraft technology by leading an Engineering team. The team performs research into advanced concepts and prototypes for various communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components. The team is also responsible for developing system/subsystem requirements, participating with Software engineers with real-time Operational Flight Program (OFP) development, subsystem/system testing, and evaluating system performance in Flight Test. Simulation and modeling is utilized to assist in requirements development, software development and offsets some Flight Test verification. This position will also oversee the execution of specific subsystem development and work closely with USN/DCMA customers and suppliers. Position Responsibilities: Ensure that the team delivers safe and high-quality program products within cost and schedule Coordination with program management, suppliers, customers and other Boeing teams Provide technical, programmatic and process leadership to team members Monitor team and supplier performance to ensure proper system integration and compliance with requirements Support production and USN fleet with issue resolution for delivered hardware and software over the entire product life cycle Perform managerial HR functions Lead, develop, and motivate employees This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. There will be a small amount of travel. This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active). Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry 9+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor's or 7+ years of work-related experience with Masters or 4+ years with a PhD Candidates must have at least two years of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership." 7+ years of technical or engineering experience 2+ years of experience in avionics, electrical and/or Mission Systems Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): With the above Bachelor degree, also have an MBA or equivalent degree Strong collaboration and coordination skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience delivering presentations Experience with Earned Value Management Engineering experience in Electronic Warfare (EW) Experience mentoring engineers and less-experienced managers Engineering experience on the F-18 program Working knowledge of Scale Agile Framework (SAFe) Active Top-Secret Security Clearance Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and Jama Connect Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
