Team Overview and Job Responsibilities We are looking for a PRODUCT PROJECT SPECIALIST to join our team. Based in Cariacica you will be responsible for operating activities related to studies, analyses, planning, and development of umbilical products and accessories, as well as applying continuous improvement methodologies, techniques, and technologies to meet customer specifications and needs, evaluating costs involved, deadlines for equipment and tool acquisitions, schedules, and technical documentation, based on guidelines and international technologies pre-established by the parent company, aiming to provide the company with products that are competitive in terms of cost, quality, safety, health, and environment. Main Responsibilities 1. Plan, study, and develop umbilical product and accessory projects, establishing objectives , scopes, and methodologies, identifying sources of physical and financial resources, and preparing physical-budgetary schedules. 2. Define, together with internal and external clients, the technical data and information necessary to carry out studies and technical foundations for developing product projects and their methodologies, as well as the scope of work included in the dynamic analysis to be performed. 3. Design, manufacture, qualify, and provide results of umbilical cable and accessory studies, based on client technical requirements and/or the company's management plan, aiming to meet deadlines and technical and commercial clauses of contracts. 4. Conduct technical and technological prospecting, identifying needs for improvements and enhancements to products, processes, and methodologies, pointing out technological trends in the market that provide increased quality, rationalization, and cost reduction, aiming to meet customer needs. 5. Provide technical consulting, conducting audits and evaluations of projects and products, issuing technical reports and opinions and information on science and technology, as well as providing technical support to the commercial area, guiding and suggesting methodologies, raw materials and technological criteria added to the products to clients. 6. Develop product projects, designing and specifying equipment, prototypes, materials, processes and methods, as well as monitoring construction, testing, trials and performing analysis of results, and making technical and technological adjustments to adapt to scientific parameters. 7. Lead research projects, establishing economic feasibility analyses of products and systems, variables of environmental impacts, safety, environment and health. 8. Participate in qualification, certification and homologation activities of developed systems and products, preparing quality manuals, procedures, standards and technical and technological specifications, evaluation of products and methods, processes, characteristics of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic tests, in accordance with current legislation, technical standards and pre-established guidelines. 9. Monitor and evaluate the behavior of product project variables to ensure the compatibility of results with specifications. 10. Prepare technical documentation, issue technical reports and opinions, and update manuals through studies, data collection, and operational training programs, and generate technical and safety specifications for products and processes. 11. Issue reports regarding technical and operational occurrences in studies and/or implementations/modifications carried out, keeping teams and other professionals involved informed of the recommended actions. 12. Advise on the practical application of research and development results, guiding the implementation of new technologies or inputs, in order to contribute to the improvement of products or services. 13. Store science and technology information, selecting international studies and research that allow for monitoring technological evolution and contribute to the scientific development of products and the company. 14. Develop and monitor projects for modifications to production processes and equipment. 15. Ensure that conservation, cleaning, and hygiene procedures are observed in work areas, machinery, and equipment, as well as guide third parties in complying with safety, discipline, accident prevention, environmental, and quality standards. Who are we looking for? We are looking for a technician with the following skills and motivations: Advanced English, both written and spoken, for interactions with international clients and technical documentation. Desirable: Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial activities. Desirable: Ability to prepare and review calculations, technical drawings, reports and procedures - Knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Project and Excel. / Advantage: experience with Orcaflex and FEA.
