Participate / Lead in the development of project deliverables (DFMEA, Design Reviews, Score cards...)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, equivalent degree or work experience
5 to 7 years of relevant experience
Experience designing high voltage (>100Vdc) inverters for electric machines
Experience designing mixed analog and digital circuits
Experience designing power supplies (linear or switch mode)
Experience designing analog electronic functions (digital isolation, operational amplifier signal conditioning)
Experience with circuit schematic capture and layout
Experience with system level and circuit level simulation software
Experience testing and troubleshooting high voltage electronics over 300Vdc
Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS, etc.)
Skilled in organizing, prioritizing and coordinating working relationships with all levels of personnel within and outside of the organization
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Experience with electric machine control theory (Induction and PMSM)
Experience designing, tuning, troubleshooting digital motor control algorithms
Six Sigma Training/Certification (Green Belt / DFLSS)
Experience with design criteria and protective functions design per agency requirements (UL60730, UL60335)
Experience with evaluating the reliability of electronic circuits
Experience with RoHS and EHS guidelines
Experience providing customer support and driving customer issues to resolution
Familiar with test procedures for EMI, hipot, electrical transients, ESD
Familiar with hardware layer of motor control peripherals (ADC, PWM timers, DAC...)
Familiar with hardware layer of communication peripherals (UART, I2C, SPI...)

The ideal candidate will possess extensive power electronics background and a proven track record of autonomously identifying new ideas in their field of expertise, critically assessing their relevance against the needs and opportunities of the business segment, and developing these ideas from Concept stage to Minimum Viable Product (MVP) stage.
