Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, including performance management, hiring, and career development
Own end-to-end delivery of complex technical projects, from planning and execution to release and post-launch support
Collaborate closely with product management, design, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
Define, implement, and enforce best practices for system architecture, coding standards, testing, and deployment
Ensure systems meet high standards of scalability, performance, reliability, and security
Drive agile development processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives
Lead production readiness, incident management, root cause analysis, and postmortems
Contribute to high-level technical decision-making, architectural reviews, and long-term system design
Track and improve engineering metrics such as velocity, quality, uptime, and delivery predictability
Technical Expectations
Strong hands-on and architectural experience with Java
Experience working with MongoDB and Elasticsearch in production environments
Solid understanding of building scalable, distributed systems
Experience with system performance tuning, observability, and fault tolerance is a plus
Proven experience 8+ years of experience in managing and scaling engineering teams
Strong execution mindset with the ability to balance technical depth and people leadership
Experience driving large, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
