About the role

The Talent Assessment and Development Coordinator is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving learning and talent development initiatives that support organizational goals. This role combines instructional design expertise with talent assessment, employee development, and performance improvement strategies to enhance workforce capability, engagement, and career growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Instructional Design & Training Development Design, develop, and maintain engaging learning materials including e-learning courses, instructor-led training, job aids, videos, and blended learning solutions. Conduct training needs analyses in partnership with leaders and subject matter experts. Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.) to create effective learning experiences. Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions when required. Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, metrics, and feedback analysis. Manage learning content within LMS platforms and ensure training records are updated. Closely work with operations team members to coach and guide training initiatives and training sessions. Talent Assessment & Development Coordinate talent assessment programs including competency evaluations, skills assessments, calibration sessions, and development planning. Support succession planning and career development initiatives across departments. Partner with managers to identify employee development needs and recommend learning solutions. Assist in creating and maintaining competency matrices and role-based development frameworks. Track employee development progress and maintain accurate talent development records. Support performance management initiatives and development conversations. Program Coordination & Continuous Improvement Coordinate training schedules, communications, attendance tracking, and reporting. Analyze learning and performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Develop dashboards and reports related to training completion, effectiveness, and talent development metrics. Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Operations, Planning, and Leadership teams. Continuously improve training processes, onboarding programs, and development initiatives. Work Environment This position requires understanding and accepting that as a vital driver and coordinator in the Talent Assesment and Development Department, there can be days or occasionally weeks of training that require being on site, coordinating and hosting face to face trainings, assesments and similar tasks. The coordinator is expected to fully understand in what pace, frequency and learning needs will in person training be required and as an owner of these initiatives and tasks the Coordinator must be present and set the example. There's ample room for Virtual Learning and Training as well, so this is mainly a HyBrid Role due to the nature of the job expectations. Work is generally performed in an open office, sedentary position. At the same time it is also active and can require standing and walking through the office or changing office rooms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education,, Business or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in instructional design, training coordination, talent development, or related roles.
  • Experience designing corporate training programs and development initiatives.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience with LMS platforms and e-learning authoring tools preferred.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Suite tools
  • Certification in Instructional Design, Talent Development, or Learning & Development.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, or corporate environments.
  • Knowledge of competency models, talent reviews, and assessment frameworks.
