SEND Teaching Assistant

About the role

You will be working closely with pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, including: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Sensory processing difficulties Communication needs, including non-verbal pupils Physical disabilities Working under the guidance of class teachers and the SENCO, you'll help provide personalised support, adapt resources, and promote independence and inclusion throughout the school day.

Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant - Ages 5-16 Location: Liverpool, L26 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm Contract: Full Academic Year (Temp to Perm Opportunity) Start Date: ASAP Salary: £100 - £106 per day (DOE) We are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school supporting children and young people aged 5 to 16 with a wide range of needs and disabilities. This is a full-time position, running for the full academic year, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.
