Project Manager - Roadway Design Engineer

Requirements

• Typically requires 10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience with a strong background in roadway design. We welcome applicants with a range of experience levels, provided they can demonstrate successful management of roadway design projects for DOTs or LPAs.
• Proficiency with roadway design software, engineering analysis tools, and project management systems.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision making abilities.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Proficiency with project scheduling tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver's license.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Indiana to lead roadway engineering design projects of varying size and complexity throughout the southern Indiana region. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer with strong skills in project leadership, technical oversight, client coordination, and strategic planning. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, strengthen client relationships, ensure high‑quality deliverables, and play a key role in advancing our roadway design practice. We provide multi-disciplined services for a variety of public agencies and private entities, including transportation design; water resources design; environmental analysis & permitting; construction engineering & inspection; traffic engineering & transportation planning; surveying; and land acquisition & appraisal. Our Roadway/Highway Design team is involved in a wide variety of street, roadway, highway and multi-modal transportation design projects for local public agencies and state DOT's.
