Duties of a Child protection and permanence Advanced Practitioner: To work as part of the team delivering services to Children In Need/In Need of Protection as part of an integrated service delivering high quality services with families and carers. To mentor and supervise other social workers and social work assistants. To lean on and role model exceptional social work values and practice, supporting the development of others within the service. To be responsible for and hold a number of complex cases and ensure children are safeguarded as well as promoting and role modelling good social work practice.
