Clinically AI is a healthcare AI company transforming how clinicians, administrators, compliance teams, and healthcare organizations manage documentation, chart auditing, and operational workflows through artificial intelligence. Our platform reduces administrative burden, improves operational efficiency, and helps behavioral health and healthcare organizations focus more on care delivery and less on documentation and compliance overhead. Built with a strong emphasis on clinical usability, regulatory alignment, and workflow integration, we operate in a fast-growing and rapidly evolving AI healthcare market where adoption, trust, and execution matter. We are seeking a Clinical AI Implementation Specialist to join our team in a hybrid role, working on-site in our San Diego office Monday through Thursday. In this role, you will own end-to-end implementation, workflow configuration, training, and adoption for behavioral health and healthcare customers using the Clinically AI platform. This is not a traditional implementation role focused only on deployment and go-live milestones. Success in this position is measured by sustained usage, behavioral adoption, and long-term workflow integration across clinical, compliance, audit, and operational teams. You will help organizations become AI-native by guiding clinicians, administrators, and leadership teams through the transition from onboarding to confident daily usage of AI in real workflows. This role combines implementation delivery, workflow consulting, AI configuration, stakeholder management, and organizational change management. You will serve as the primary operational partner for customers throughout implementation and early adoption, helping them integrate AI into real clinical and administrative workflows in a way that is practical, compliant, and sustainable over time. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strong communication, systems thinking, empathy, and execution discipline. You must be comfortable working across executives, therapists, compliance leaders, IT stakeholders, and frontline staff while maintaining clarity, momentum, and trust throughout the customer journey. KEY ATTRIBUTES TO SUCCEED Adoption-Focused Mindset : You measure success by sustained usage, workflow integration, and customer outcomes rather than implementation completion alone. Strong Implementation Ownership : You are able to manage complex, multi-stakeholder implementations from kickoff through stabilization while maintaining execution momentum. Empathy and Change Leadership : You are comfortable guiding clinicians and administrators through uncertainty or skepticism around AI adoption and new workflows. AI-Native Thinking : You actively use AI tools in your own work and understand prompting, structured outputs, workflow design, and practical AI application in operational environments. Clinical Workflow Fluency : You understand healthcare and behavioral health documentation workflows, compliance requirements, and how clinicians and audit teams operate in practice. Communication and Stakeholder Alignment : You are able to communicate effectively with executive sponsors, therapists, compliance teams, IT leaders, and frontline users while adapting your communication style to different audiences. Systems and Operational Thinking : You understand how implementation, training, adoption, workflow optimization, and customer success connect into a unified operational system. Thriving in a Fast-Paced Environment: You operate effectively in a high-growth startup where priorities evolve quickly and speed of execution matters. REQUIRED : 5+ years of experience in healthcare technology implementation, consulting, or clinical operations roles Demonstrated experience owning enterprise implementations from kickoff through stabilization, including configuration, training, and adoption Hands-on experience with EHR systems, clinical documentation workflows, and clinician training Strong track record in change management and user adoption, particularly with users who are new to technology or hesitant about it Active, daily user of AI tools in your own workflow (LLMs, prompt engineering, structured outputs) Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across clinical, operational, and executive audiences PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED (Nice to Have): Behavioral health, substance use, IDD, or human services experience Familiarity with chart auditing, utilization review, compliance auditing, or quality assurance workflows Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as Joint Commission, CARF, Medicaid requirements, and ASAM Criteria Hands-on experience with AI-powered documentation tools or ambient listening technologies Background as a behavioral health clinician (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, LPCC, psychologist, etc.) Experience scaling an implementation function in an early-stage SaaS environment This is a full-time hybrid position based in San Diego, CA, with on-s
