About the role
Uber Freight is looking for Logistics Specialists to support dedicated customer accounts within our Managed Transportation organization. In this role, you will play a critical part in day-to-day transportation execution, helping ensure freight moves efficiently, service expectations are met, and customers receive a high level of operational support. What The Candidate Will Do Manage daily transportation execution activities for assigned customer accounts Utilize Uber Freight's Transportation Management System (TMS) to support the full shipment lifecycle, including load building, tendering, tracking, and updates Coordinate with carriers, shippers, and receivers to ensure on-time pickup and delivery performance Monitor shipment activity and proactively resolve operational issues, delays, or service disruptions Support appointment scheduling and shipment visibility updates Communicate professionally with customers and internal stakeholders regarding shipment status and operational impacts Analyze shipment and carrier performance trends to identify opportunities for service improvement Leverage routing guides and spot market options to support effective freight coverage and transportation solutions Assist with resolving shipment data discrepancies and invoice-related issues within the TMS Document and follow customer-specific operational procedures and workflows Partner cross-functionally with internal operations, carrier management, and customer support teams to drive successful outcomes
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ year of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, customer operations, or a related field
- OR Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business, or a related field
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace
- 2+ year of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, customer operations, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business, or a related field
- Experience working within a Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace
- Experience working in a customer-focused operational environment
