All that we're missing is you. Apply today! The CDL Driver II is responsible for transporting hazardous and non‑hazardous waste materials between Reworld facilities and customer locations. This role is primarily local and home daily, with occasional travel based on business needs. Drivers operate automatic transmission equipment, including tractor‑trailer tankers, straight‑truck tankers, and vacuum trucks, hauling materials such as wastewater, oily water, and bulk pump‑outs. This is a hands‑on driving role focused on safe operation, proper equipment use, and compliance with company and DOT requirements. Primary Responsibilities Safely operate CDL Class A vehicles to transport hazardous and non hazardous materials on local and regional routes in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies Load, unload, and transport wastewater, oily water, and bulk pump out materials using tanker and vacuum equipment Operate PTOs, pumps, and related equipment to safely handle materials Perform thorough pre trip and post trip inspections of vehicles and equipment Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational procedures Additional Responsibilities Complete all required administrative tasks and paperwork related to waste transportation and equipment operation including manifests, bills of lading, logs, delivery receipts, and inspection reports Ensure correct vehicle placarding and documentation in accordance with DOT regulations Maintain clear communication with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding schedules, route changes, and potential delays Uphold responsibility for the safety of employees, clients, and the public while performing job duties Interpret maps and follow written and verbal directions Participate in on call rotation for emergency response approximately every five weeks Complete additional duties as assigned Schedule and Route Details Local routes with daily home time Occasional travel of three to five days for outages or business needs Typical schedule Monday through Friday Start times between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM Average workdays of 10 to 12 hours Overtime readily and consistently available Required Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older Valid CDL Class A license required Tanker endorsement required Hazmat endorsement required or willingness to obtain Minimum of two years CDL driving experience Acceptable motor vehicle record Ability to obtain a TWIC card Willingness to wear required PPE including a respirator when hauling hazardous materials Ability to be clean shaven when required for respirator use
