This role monitors system performance, supports payment system users, analyzes business requirements for system enhancements, serves as the liaison among all relevant internal stakeholders around payment systems, and ensures system data integrity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs mission-critical functions in all aspects of the agency's revenue payment systems performance, including all hardware and software systems in automatic fare collection systems, ticket vending machines, count room asset management system, and related revenue systems. Facilitates and solicits business requirements to ensure systems meet internal/external customers' needs. Performs business requirement analyses for new system development/enhancements. Performs business systems user support and continuously monitors performance to ensure system is operational with high system uptime. Troubleshoots any systems issues working with all relevant stakeholders in implementing working solutions. Performs implementation of new software, upgrades, and enhancements to include user testing, troubleshooting, and adaptation of systems. Performs user training and change management effort in any new systems changes. Maintains and tracks revenue systems product backlog. Acts as a liaison between the Finance revenue system team and the Information Technology department to ensure system availability and uptime. Researches any future business solutions that can improve the division's processes and performance. Manages vendor performance, relationship, and ongoing communication. Monitor vendor performance in a day-to-day basis to ensure compliance with the agency's expectations. Coordinates and oversees procurement efforts and revenue systems related to contract oversight. Serves as the data steward of revenue systems and implements actions to resolve any system data integrity issues. Performs other related duties as assigned. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Note : An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted for the below stated minimums excluding High School Diploma, GED, Licenses, or Certifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Five (5) years of progressively responsible transportation industry business systems administration experience that has agency-wide impact (e.g. ERP, HRIS, Timekeeping Systems, Maintenance/Asset Management systems). Demonstrated project management experience in business and technology solution implementation and support. Certification in Scrum Product Owner preferred. Pass a physical (medical) examination that includes a drug screen in order to operate DART non-revenue vehicles. Proficient on PC and knowledgeable of software applications, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to include Word and Excel or other related software applications. Ability to be dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. Gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services.
