Role summary: The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the end-to-end oversight of warehouse operations, inventory control, and quality assurance. This position ensures the seamless execution of shipping, receiving, and stock management while managing ah-hoc operations request on value-added work such as RockCycle (waste sorting), lamination processes and other insulation value-added work. The incumbent serves as a critical link in the organisation, managing facility infrastructure, security, and government compliance. Practical and systematic, the role focuses on optimizing operational performance, ensuring the safe use of material-handling equipment, and providing strategic insights as logistics specialist. Key responsibilities and activities include, but is not limited to: 1. Warehouse & Inventory Management Operational Oversight: Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring 100% accuracy in shipping, receiving, and delivery. Inventory Planning: Lead inventory planning and cycle count activities (minimum twice yearly) to maintain a monthly Stock Accuracy of 95%. System Integrity: Control and update all finished goods movements in Rockbis (SAP/ERP) in a timely and accurate manner. Space Optimization: Manage warehouse storage layout and external warehouse vendors to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness. 2. Value-Added Services (VAS) & Special Operations Production Support: Oversee ad-hoc value-added work including RockCycle (recycling program), Lamination, and Coating processes. Resource Allocation: Manage manpower and equipment specifically for VAS to meet customer requirements without disrupting core warehouse flows. 3. Quality Control & Continuous Improvement Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS); resolve warehouse quality issues and ensure all packaging satisfies customer standards. Process Improvement: Facilitate the documentation of business requirements and plan continuous improvement strategies to enhance logistics service quality. Sustainability: Organize warehouse activities using energy-saving and resource-efficient processes in line with Group values. 4. Safety, Security & Facility Management Workplace Safety (WSH): Lead and manage Workplace Health and Safety to ensure organisational compliance. Manage Hazardous Materials Identification System (HMIS) and ensuring all safety data sheets are updated. Infrastructure & Civil Work: Oversee the maintenance of the warehouse facility, infrastructure, and office general work, including new installations and infrastructure and civil works projects. Compliance: Manage government facility inspection, approvals and ensure the facility complies with all local authority requirements. Security & Showroom: Responsible for property security management and the upkeep of the Showroom and Sample Room. 5. Leadership & Communication Team Management: Directly supervise warehouse employees, providing on-the-job training and ensuring high levels of utilization and safety. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate between Sales, Customer Service, and Procurement teams to ensure efficient distribution. Backup Responsibilities: Ensure adequate backup staff for the operation team and to ensure business continuity in operations.
