About the role
This role is responsible for end to end recovery claims management of claims. This includes making decisions on recovery claim outcome, customer interaction (inbound and outbound), supplier coordination, raising payments to suppliers and recovery claim finalization. This role is also responsible for keeping portfolios compliant to SLAs measured and remain within the agreed performance targets. Your New Role: Manage recovery claims end to end within parameters of claims manual, recovery team operation, DTPs, policies and relevant legislation and regulations. Ensure compliance within delegated authority limits. Maintain effective and proactive communication with customers, claim handlers, brokers and underwritings. Ensure effective coordination with vendors. Set possible recovery cost of claim and updates on time as reports are sent through by assessors. Raises payment within delegations of authority. Providing feedback to claim handler on policy coverage. Promptly informing customer of acceptance/ decline of recovery claim and escalating issues or proper endorsement as needed. Decide on the best fulfillment method to settle recovery claim. Identify suspicious or potentially fraudulent claims in accordance with QBE fraud indicators. Refer these claims to the Fraud Investigations team. Provide information and feedback on claims activity and developing trends to claim handlers/underwriters/risk assessors to enable appropriate actions to be carried out. Provide training/sharing to claim handlers & underwriting on recovery process About You : Preferred Claims Knowledge of Insurance ( Property, Engineering, Construction, Marine and/or Liability). Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Customer service and analytical and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
