Lead the creative production process, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies, from ideation to final delivery, ensuring all assets align with brand guidelines and are optimized for performance
Serve as the primary contact for third-party IP brand managers, ensuring proactive communication, conflict resolution, and the cultivation of long-term trust as a dedicated brand steward for Pokémon GO
Design, implement and maintain a custom AI-powered Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, leveraging advanced AI/ML models for hyper-efficient search, automated metadata tagging, approval status tracking and curated browsing
Evaluate and evolve existing workflows, proactively identifying opportunities to build AI-driven solutions and automation to improve productivity, eliminate repetitive tasks, reduce errors and increase overall quality of work
Manage production timelines, setting work-back schedules, milestone check-ins, stakeholder reviews and approval cycles with our brand partner
Establish and maintain strong relationships with artists and agencies, enabling quick decision-making and effective feedback loops
Own the project management process: assigning projects, collecting relevant details, unblocking dependencies, providing feedback, and timely stakeholder alignment
Partner closely with cross-functional Product Marketing, Social Media and Live Events teams to align creative strategies with broader campaign goals, contributing regularly to weekly meetings
Perform quality control on design deliverables, ensuring accuracy in sizing, composition and localization requirements
Bridge the gap between the APAC and Global teams by aligning goals, communicating with the APAC team to surface opportunities for process improvements and coordination between offices

Must be fluent in English and conversational in Japanese
While based in our Japan office, this role will require flexible hours to meet with global teams and provide Live Events coverage across time zones
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field
Demonstrated experience in creative production or development, ideally within the mobile gaming industry
Strong experience leveraging AI tools to solve workflow bottlenecks, scale production and improve efficiency
Proven track record of managing complex projects from conception to completion while optimizing workflow processes
Experience working with high-profile third-party IP and navigating strict brand standards and approval processes
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, project management software (example: JIRA, Asana, Wrike) and AI coding agents (example: codex, Windsurf, Claude)
Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment and adapt to changing priorities with minimal notice
Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications
Nice to have: extensive knowledge and familiarity of the Pokémon and Pokémon GO brands

The Pokémon GO Marketing team is seeking a Creative Production Manager to drive growth through comprehensive Marketing strategies across both owned channels and paid media. This role will lead the production of a robust pipeline of all organic assets, spanning across website & email design, brand assets for seasonal and live event activations, infographics, static and video social content.
A key focus of this role is creating and leveraging AI-driven tools and workflows to scale creative production, improve efficiency, and enhance asset quality. The Creative Production Manager will play a central role in identifying, implementing, and optimizing AI-powered solutions across the creative pipeline.
This role will work closely with our brand counterparts, keeping Pokémon GO Brand Guidelines up-to-date and ensuring all creative assets uphold high quality standards. To deliver quality at scale, this position will leverage advanced AI tools to plan, test, and expand a custom Digital Asset Management (DAM) system and other operational workflows.
