Lead and manage a team of Project Managers across the full project lifecycle, from design coordination through to construction, commissioning and handover.
Take overall accountability for programme delivery, budget performance, contractual compliance and quality outcomes across all assigned projects.
Oversee the development and management of robust project programmes, procurement plans and resource strategies.
Driving Performance & Accountability
Monitor performance across a portfolio of live projects, ensuring alignment with programme milestones, cost plans and quality benchmarks.
Identify and address risks, delays or performance issues with timely and decisive intervention.
Provide regular, clear reporting to the Projects Director, highlighting progress, risks and mitigation strategies.
Client & Commercial Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders, ensuring a collaborative and transparent approach to delivery.
Lead negotiations relating to programme, cost and contractual deliverables to achieve commercially sound outcomes.
Ensure variations, risks and change requests are effectively identified, managed and escalated where required.
Team Leadership & Development
Provide strong leadership to the Project Management team through structured coaching, mentoring and performance management.
Support continuous improvement, capability development and succession planning within the department.
Conduct regular one-to-ones, team meetings and performance reviews to drive accountability and engagement.
SHEQ & Compliance Excellence
Ensure full compliance with Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) standards across all projects.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to CDM 2015 regulations and company procedures.
