Translate ideas and hypotheses into conceptual designs and prototypes
Refinement of conceptual designs into full-system ready-for-dev designs
Present designs to the team, fellow Product Designers, and potentially stakeholders across the organization
Leverage data, user insights, and UX psychology to inform your design process.
Look for opportunities to embed AI as a repeatable co-pilot in daily workflows by integrating experimentation into real work, and continuously refining its use with sound judgment and validation.
ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Duration : This fixed-term position is expected to start immediately and last approximately 6 months.
Weekly Hours : We anticipate this role will work 40 hours weekly.
Assignment Completion Bonus : Upon the successful completion of your full assignment, this position is eligible for an assignment completion bonus at the end of the contract.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction / UX or equivalent experience
Minimum of 4 years of experience in UX/Product design, including at least one year on a dedicated growth team focused on designing onboarding, account signup, purchase, or educational user flows
A strong curiosity for exploring new technologies, including AI
A shared passion for and ability to demonstrate onX's Company Values
Permanent US work authorization is a condition of employment with onX
This position requires that a portfolio of work samples be submitted for consideration

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
onX is seeking a 6-month fixed-term Growth Product Designer who will contribute to meaningful, real-world outcomes that have a lasting impact for customers and the business. In this role, you'll focus on growth design practices with an experimentation mindset as part of the Growth team, supporting the team's primary goals of increasing signup and conversion by helping new users find value in the product. You'll take ownership of your work, collaborate closely with partners across the organization, and help move initiatives forward in an environment where priorities evolve, learning is celebrated, and you're encouraged to keep stretching your skills. This role will report to the Growth team's design manager.
